Andrew Glass OBE

Country Director, British Council Romania

Andrew Glass OBE has been with British Council for over 30 years, and has worked in Thailand, Spain, Italy, Slovenia, Germany, UK, Serbia, Montenegro and Kuwait. He has an MA in Applied Linguistics/Teaching English from Aston University and a Diploma in Management from Henley Management School (University of Reading). Andrew is a genuine believer in how cultural and educational relations bring people and countries closer together.

Christopher Holmes

Cluster English Lead Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Georgia, British Council Romania

Christopher Holmes leads the British Council's English Language teaching work across Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Georgia. An experienced teacher, teacher-trainer, manager and leader, he has worked in 9 countries across 3 continents during his career; this is his fourth role with the British Council after stints in Bulgaria and Ukraine.  

Roxana Ene

Head of Examinations Business Development, British Council Romania

Roxana Ene joined the Exams Department in 2009 as Business Development Manager. Now, being in charge of the exams unit and together with a great team spread in three cities, she and her team aim to make exam opportunities widely available and offer a friendly and secure experience at the highest standards. After so many years, she still finds her role exciting and challenging - handling sales, account management and reaching higher outcomes for the exams market can never be a routine.
