The 2021 Romania Final shines the (virtual) spotlight on some of the best and brightest science communicators in Romania, bringing you 11 fun and engaging talks on medicine, biology, technology or engineering and the infinite ways in which today's scientific research helps secure a better future for us all.
In the FameLab format, competitors have just 3 minutes to introduce you to a scientific topic in an engaging, fun and original way. Their talks need to be clear and simple, but informative, and they will be evaluated by the jury based on the 3Cs of the competition: content, clarity and charisma.
The FameLab Romania winner will represent our country at the FameLab International Final, held this autumn in partnership with Cheltenham Science Festival, battling it out with finalists from over 20 countries across the globe for the first place in the world’s largest science communication competition and the coveted title of FameLab International Champion.
