Come see the production present this year at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe (Assembly Roxy) on Saturday 6 September, at 2100. Join us at the Museum of the Romanian Peasant for the “Blind Hamlet” theatre performance by the Actors Touring Company, a play written by Nassim Soleimanpour and directed by Ramin Gray.

In “Blind Hamlet” the narrator confronts the slow loss of his sight. Tragedy is looming, yet he chooses to play with truth, fiction, fate and chance and asks the audience to join him in doing so. Seven people from the audience will be invited on stage for a few simple games. The rest of the audience will also be asked to participate in several key moments.

Actors Touring Company commissions, produces and promotes international contemporary theatre at home and overseas, since being founded in 1980.

“Blind Hamlet” will be performed during the seventh edition of the first Romanian independent theatre festival, Undercloud, which starts off on 1 September with a full schedule which, this year, brings forth an international dimension.
For 11 full days you will be able to enjoy 32 productions from independent theatres in Bucharest and from abroad, all held at the Museum of the Romanian Peasant.

“Blind Hamlet” will be performed in English.

Tickets can be purchased on www.bilete.ro. Ticket price: 35 Ron.
