Alex Rider TV Series
The spy thriller series, Alex Rider, premieres in Romania on 6 October and will be broadcast each Tuesday, from 23.00 on AXN.
Based on Point Blanc, the second volume of the book series with the same name from Anthony Horowitz, with more than 20 million copies worldwide, Alex Rider was shot in UK and Romania. Some of the most spectacular and full of adrenaline scenes from Point Blanc were filmed in Bucegi Mountains.
Otto Farrant (The White Queen, Mrs. Wilson) is Alex Rider, a reluctant teen who becomes a spy against his will, Brenock O’Connor (Game of Thrones, Living the Dream) is Tom Harris, Alex best friend. Romanian actress Ana Ularu plays Eva Stellenbosch, Point Blanc dean, maybe the biggest threat to Alex Rider. Eva is not only a brilliant psihologist, but also an expert in digging out the deepest and darkest desires and secrets.
