You’ll explore the universe, the natural world around us and our impact on it, animals and habitats, our bodies and healthy living, and find out about mythical creatures and mighty warriors throughout famous legends. What are you waiting for? Join the summer fun now! 

The programme is structured in one-week stand-alone modules. Each module consists of 10 hours of English classes divided into 2 one-hour lessons a day, and 10 hours of activities and projects in English. The lessons are designed to cater for children’s natural curiosity about the world and are project-based.

The children will be enrolled in either starter, low, and higher depending on their level of English; plese see below the themes for each level.

During the course, you child will

  • Learn relevant vocabulary and practise it through games.  
  • Learn songs related to the theme.  
  • Complete a series of projects, arts and crafts activities and worksheets.

Period

June 24 - August 30, tematic weeks. Weeks 1 to 5 will run twice this summer.

8-  10 years old on 30 September 2024

Duration

1 week: 2 hours of English and 2 hours of activities per day

Cost

840 RON - 2 hours of English per day. Current students receive an additional 5% discount!

Location

In our teaching centres Dorobanți, City Gate, or One Cotroceni Park. Location will be arranged by yourself and our sales consultant depending on the chosen themed week and level of English.

Week 1 - All about me

All about me focuses on learning and expressing basic information about ourselves. What is your favourite colour? What do you like? Come along and let us know and learn lots more too!
Week 2 - My picnic

What food do you like? What would you put in your picnic basket? Come and tell us, and learn lots more! 
Week 3 -My puppet

Let’s play with puppets! What does your puppet look like? How many eyes has your puppet got? What clothes is it wearing? Come along and let us know, and learn a whole lot more too!
Week 4 - At the farm

Let’s go to the farm! What animals can you see? How many are there? What do they look like? Come on, let’s go!
Week 5 - At the park

Hai în parc! Ce activități îți plac? Ce poți face ? Vino și spune-ne, și învață mai multe!

Weekly themes for Lower and High

Week 1 - Space explorer

 

Space explorer focuses on the theme of space exploration, the solar system and our galaxy. 
Week 2 -Bizarre nature

Bizarre nature focuses on the theme of nature phenomena. 
Week 3 -Fascinating ainmals

Fascinating animals focuses on the theme of animals.
Week 4 - The wonders of the human body

The wonders of the human body focuses on the theme of body and health.
Week 5 - Myths, Legends, and Stories

Myths, Legends and Stories focuses on exploring the topic of mythical creatures and mighty warriors throughout famous legends. Was King Arthur real or just another legend? 

Programme

Each theme is one week long.

Lessons and activities are from Monday to Friday from 09:00 - 13:45 or 14:30 - 19:15.

All participants must have their level of English language fluency assessed through a free placement test offered by the British Council. Please, book a level test here.
