Facilities Coordinator
British Council, a leading international cultural organisation, is recruiting a full-time Facilities Coordinator to deliver high quality services to internal customers and be involved in challenging Premises projects aimed to improve customer satisfaction as well as the working environment. The role is meant for an ambitious person with a relevant background, strong communication and relationship building skills, who has the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Role overview
Your work will imply continuous interaction with internal clients and thorough understanding of their needs and how you can align them to British Council standards and policies. You will be required to actively engage will all departments and work together towards common goals.
The role consists of a mix of administrative day-to-day routine, supervision of support function staff and contractors (such as handyman, Cleaning and Security Company), as well as involvement in larger projects, and you will be expected to juggle multiple priorities.
You will also be expected to maintain relationships with Facilities suppliers and services providers and be involved in supplier sourcing, tender processes and evaluation of commercial proposals.

The probation period is one month and the initial duration of the contract is 2 years, with the possibility of further extension.
Essential skills and competencies for the advertised vacancy:
- Previous experience in a similar or related role
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

- Interpersonal, teamwork and relationship-building skills
